N.H.S.
"Janice meets Andrew Lansley, Conservative Shadow Secretary of State for Health to discuss health issues" (above) Last month the Conservative Party stated that our priority was saving the NHS from Gordon Brown's cuts. I campaigned in Gravesend town centre and received massive support. We have all seen this locally across hospitals in Kent - bed losses, job losses and less being spent per head for the following financial year. In 1997 Tony Blair said he had 24 hours to save the NHS. He has mis-managed our NHS, burdened it with bureacracy, spent billions on re-organisation and doctors and nurses are Losing their jobs. In Kent there are very few NHS dentists taking on new patients. None in Thanet, none in Maidstone, none in Sevenoaks and none in Chatham and Aylesford. Other areas are deluged with new patients from out of their area, soon there will be none in these areas. |
